Dear Doctor, l am Jayeeta Banerjee, 40, from Kolkata. I am suffering from lower back pain since last two years. I have tried many allopathic medicines and pain killers, but could not get effective results. L have done xray and MRI twice in the mean time which shows joint degeneration and some nerve compression. Today l have consulted again with my doctor and he has prescribed me Acton OR twice a day ,Defza 30 once a day, Nexpro 40, Trinerve lC once a day. My query is that is it safe to use steroid Defza 30? L have heard that effect of steroids do not have any longtime effect and situation gets worsen after few weeks. Please guide me.
