I got braces 3 months ago & have got 4 teeth extracted. I recently had my premolar extracted & have witnessed a lot of pain. I did not experience discomfort before my 4th tooth was extracted. But this time it's paining badly. I consulted my dentist & he prescribed me zerodol & Ordent. He said to take painkiller thrice a day. I usually avoid taking painkillers. Pain starts as soon as the effect of medicine wears off & i've to take them. Is it paining because of dry socket? How much time will it take to get normal? Are there any home remedies to heal fast?
