I am a 60 yr. Old woman. I have to get my wisdom tooth from the left upper jaw removed. Will there be any side effects after tooth extraction.
Is an oral surgeon, better than a dentist for the process of tooth extraction?
There are no side effects after extraction only certain restrictions post extraction. Mild discomfort, pain etc will be there which will subside with the prescribed medication.
Usually third molar erupts in a slightly deviated manner .An oral surgeon is specialized in removal of such teeth .but an experienced dentist also can do the treatment.
