A month back I fractured my feet (i believe it was the metatarsal bone of the little toe, near the tarsometatarsal join). I got a fibreglass cast (from toes to below knee) for 30 days and got it removed a couple of days back. Now I am slowly and carefully walking. However, there is some inflammation and I can feel the bone with slight bump. There is some pain in the area if I strain it a bit. Is this normal? When can I expect the bone to heal and be pain-free and be able to walk normally?
