Suggest food, medicines & health care tips to take care of my father 91 years. Being a remote village, no expert doctors in the area. He is taking one tablet for BP & one for vitamin as prescribed by doctor. I observed little weakened respiratory system & hear some sound while breathing during evening & night time, excessive mucus during cold, feeling loss of strength while walking (a few incidents of fall), some times find it difficult to get up from the floor (used to sit on the floor for relatively longer duration for Pooja), occasionally observed slight loss of memory.

Ensure that he eats nutritious and healthy food (balanced diet) and sleeps well. He needs to balance every thing and take precautions so as not to fall down. You can read about precautions for elderly people from the internet and plan accordingly. Be in touch with the doctor and you can arrange for a doctor to visit him on a regular basis. Being in the company of people will keep him in good mood. You can also discuss with your family so that quality time can be spent with him.
