Hello lybrate-user, You may actually procure as many children as any other husband and wife. In cases where husband's blood group is Rh+ and wife's blood group Rh- the fetus tends to get the factor from either of the parent as like any other trait, i.e. He/she may either be Rh+ or Rh-. So if the fetus inside the Rh- mother is Rh-, then no problem occurs and all such pregnancies go easy. Mother-fetus incompatibility occurs when the mother is Rh- and her fetus is Rh+.Maternal antibodies can cross the placenta and destroy fetal red blood cells thus harming the fetus. The risk increases with each pregnancy. First such pregnancy usually occurs without much hassle but in 2nd such pregnancy the mother needs medical help within time. In modern world with the latest techniques such things can be diagnosed early during pregnancy and complications may be avoided with the help of medication. So yes, you may have as many babies as you wish, some without much medical help and some with a bit more of medical help but that should not be a reason for you to worry and not enjoy your married life and the happiness of having a child of your own.
