Hello sir / mam. My father age 58 have diabetes and bp problems. Recently we have done a sonography and gall stone of 6 mm in the gall bladder. Someone advised to visit a homeopathic doctor. My question is can my father take allopathy medicines with homeopathy. Will there be any side effects or not?Is it safe to take them along?Please reply thanking you in advance.

For gall stones there is no medical treatment in allopathy or homopathy.Only answer is surgery.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Patients on modern medication can take other drugs belonging to different practices. There is hardly any problem. As regards the alternative therapy mentioned by you, there is absolutely no problem at all as most of those drugs are just like placebos. If the patient has diabetes it is important to achives strict glucose control with fasting glucose < 100 mg, PP 160 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <7 Similarly BP also should be well controlled. Thanks.
