I had a sprain in the ankle 15 days back while getting down through stairs. At first I got swelling over that area. Then I had a stretch band for relief and used aceclofenac with serapeptadine tablets. After that swelling has been reduced but the pain at the joint still remains the same. I have given rest and tried different methods to reduce the pain but it didn't work. It's getting an older pain Please suggest me a solution for this. Thank you.

Start physiotherapy asap, probably ultrasound therapy and laser therapy for a week to 15 days.

Ankle pain. Our suggestion would be to do hot water fermentation along with Cold (ice) therapy. You shall also keep a pillow under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes.
