Hello Doctor, Today I went to an diagnostic lab to check my blood group, then they brought me a packed disposable syringe (company: DORA), I opened the pack myself and they applied surgical spirit on my hand and while the man drawing blood from my vein I observed some rust like thing on the outer body of needle (somewhere in the middle), SHOULD I WORRY about the infections, especially STD like HIV, HCV, etc. And the new disposable syringe used only for me. AM I safe? Please Reply Doctor.

You are safe from this procedure, but we can not guarantee your safety from other risk factors as you have not shared any information on that front. Please take HBV vaccines. They are inexpensive.
