I'm been detected primary hypothyroidism TSH 73.32 FT3 3.54 FT4 0.956 ANTI-TPO Ab 54.75 IU/ml. Taking 50 mcg thyroxine. Previously had excess hair loss and dandruff and itch before head shave. Now only itch in scalp (sometimes). Hair-loss in sides, top of head and eyebrows. I need to know what cause my hair loss. Does it because of thyroid alone? I also tested complete hemogram only MCHC (30 g/dL) RDW-SD (50.4 fL) looks abnormal. Any further test need to take for more assessment?
