I have pain in my left wrist joint from more than 5 months most probably due to heavy lifting or incorrect form. I have been lifting weights since more than 15 yrs. Only rotation and bending causes pain not constantly. No tenderness or swelling at all. Uric acid test is completely normal. Physiotherapy for a week didn't help. Orthopedist prescribed Indocap 75 which healed the joint almost completely but after starting exercise again, the pain came back after a month. I again took Indocap for 10 days but after stopping meds, pain returned. I tried strengthening using finger exerciser and squeeze ball but no relief. What are my options now? I also have Ankylosing Spondylitis since 2005.

Hi, A wrist strap wrap and doing free exercises are best for two weeks followed by very light exercises for another two weeks. Thereafter need to increase weight based on symptoms you are going to complain (assessment).
