Hi, I do gym and I started taking whey protein and its content is milk and soy. I have thyroid and taking 75 MG eltroxin tablet everyday. My TSH is 2.3. I heard soy is not good for those suffering with thyroid. Now since the content of my whey protein is milk and soy. I want to know is soy really not good for me?

There are many controversies surrounding soy. Some studies say soy protein is good and beneficial. But some studies say that it may be an allergen especially the GMO soy. Having too much of soy might give thyroid issues (more common in women than men). Taking in moderation will not affect thyroid hormones. You can try pea protein instead of soy protein, if you are worried.
