Etizolam is a medicine used to treat anxiety which is why it is prescribed to you. It has certain side effects like drowsiness, headache, vertigo etc and is habit forming when taken over a longer period of time. So start with cbt too so that your problem is resolved soon and you do not need to take the medicine for too long. Social anxiety is not a serious problem and can be resolved with cbt.
