Sir patient age 49 years is on omnacortil medication as he is been diagnosed with IgA nephropathy so does any problem he can in future. Please do advise.

Hi Lybrate user. For IgAnephropathy depending upon the amount of protein loss in urine and level of kidney function along with biopsy findings, steroids with or without other drugs is prescribed. Usually the treatment duration is 6-12 months, hence the possiblities of side effects is low. Further you need to follow your nephrologist's advise.
