MY DOCTOR ADVISED ME TO TAK a) eritel LN 80 mg b) minipress XL 2.5 mg c) Nebicard 2.5 MG d) CTD 6.25 MG and Rosuvas 10 MG .all once daily. Can I avoid any of above medicine. Sometime I get swelling in leg.

You are on multiple medicines for high BP. This is often necessary to control BP and is called resistant Hypertension. If BP is still not controlled, then you need to see a specialist to assess why and preferably add spironolactone to the treatment. Best regards.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. With a BMI of 37.89 kgs/M2 you close grade 3 obesity (morbid obesity). This is the main reason for your high BP and the need for various medications. Doing half an hour walk and 15 minutes of yoga (?) is not at all enough. You will have to seriously look at reducing at least 5 to 8% of your current weight. With weight reduction your BP will also come down towards the expected level of 130/80 mmHg Please look at your diet and exercise and try and cut the weight. Thanks.
