I got ankle sprain during ice skating on 12 jan, but it has not heeled well. Although I can walk but there is swelling as well as some limp and some pain at heels and around ankle. On mri scan done recently, I got following report partial tear of few of anterior fibre of atfl with marrow edema at the talar attachment site and soft tissue edema over lateral malleolus. Please advice what to do. I am regularly having tendocare and weekly laser therapy. My physiotherapist even tried for kinesiology tapes but still there is some pain and swelling please help as three months has passed.

Our suggestion would be to do hot water fermentation along with Cold (ice) therapy. You shall also keep a pillow under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes.
