My father was diagnosed with moderate ascites in abdomen. But after cbc blood test. Every thing is good. hepatitis and antigen is negative. He doesn't drink Now doctor has given colour doppler test. Due to proper diet and natural diuretic my dad feels. Very less liquid as compared to earlier. And at the same time he is also having Left inguinal hernia and piles. His stomach is bloated. Problem of gas and burp. Sometime feels like fever. Also feels weakness. So whats the reason behind this. Is it hernia or stomach problem.

The problem is unlikely to be due to hernia. More likely to be due to his ascites. Hernias are known in cases having ascites.
