My father is 86 years. He has been diagnosed with CKD. His s creatinine is at 1.39. He has cholesterol but no other condition. Please can you suggest his stage and how we can prevent further deterioration given his age and stage.

At 86, you need not worry much about 1.39 Creat that is normal for his age (but depends on lab ref range). Cut down on salt.
