I am 30 year old. My resting heart rate is around 58-60. I am very anxious about it. As it is very low compared to standard 72. My blood pressure is 130/80. Is resting heart rate 58 dangerous? I have also anxiety issue. Should I do medical check up. My weight is 65 kg.

Dear user. I can understand. A normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to 100 beats a minute. Generally, a lower heart rate at rest implies more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness. For example, a well-trained athlete might have a normal resting heart rate closer to 40 beats a minute. You are HEALTH ANXIOUS, it seems. Hypochondriasis is an Obsession with the idea of having a serious but undiagnosed medical condition. Health anxiety is not a serious mental disorder but without proper treatment the person affected could be depressed and continuously engaged in negative thoughts. I suggest online counselings, cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Relaxation therapy. Take care.
