I am suffering from over weight. My weight is 80.5 kg and I want it to get reduced to 66 kg. Now I am following this diet as described below: 1. I wake up at 7: 45. I take 6 almonds and a cup of luke warm water with half a lemon. Then I go for a walk for around 30 mins which burns around 150kcal. 2. I take my lunch at around 9 am. 50-55gm of white rice with 1 medium sized bowl of dal and any one green vegetable. Then I go to clg 3. At around 12 pm I drink a 250 ml bottle of homemade lassi and an apple/guava 4. At around 2: 30 pm I eat a mixed vegetable salad comprising of cucumber, carrot and peas. 5. At 5 pm I eat a small packet of almond biscuit. I return home at 6: 30 pm 6. Between 7 to 9 pm I eat 1 banana, 1 cup of nescafe with milk. 7. At 10: 45 I take my dinner. 3 roti (chapatis), 1 piece fish/2 pieces chicken and salad I sleep at 1: 45 am now I want to know is this diet ok?

This diet pattern is fine but try to have atleast 2 cups of jasmine tea or green tea in a day which will help you in increasing your metabolic rate.
