I used to doing exercise and running on daily basis. Now again I experiencing acute pain in my back, Doctor finalised after X-ray that I have a slip disc. I thing it was started 5 year back and I discovered now my decease. Now I am feeling tingling and numbness in my left hand only. I started exercise of slip disc as suggested by Doctor but problem still persist. I have sitting job (in Bank) usually 10-11 hours daily. Please suggest me what do I do? How much dangerous / serious my problems? Which Doctor should I consult? Hand tingling is related to slip disc problem? Please guide me. Thank you very much. Regards.

Tingling in hand is not related to slip disc. To find out the cause of pain in hand, you may do X-ray or MRI of cervical spine and NCV study of left hand. MRI is preferable, but costly. I also suggest for MRI of LS spine for more details of your back problem. You can consult any orthopedic doctor. But my suggestion is to consult any experienced homoeopathic doctor who can cure you with medicine and exercise. Nothing to be worried. Your problem can be solved.

First of all seeing X-ray one shouldn't comment on slip disc. It needs MRI. You can avoid surgery. First you search a pain physician in your locality. He or she will give you better options. Still if you don't get relief, and surgeon ask for surgery, you should ask for minimally invasive transforaminal endoscopic surgery, not open surgery.
