My newborn baby had fever after 4 days of delivery. I was not getting breast milk In that time. Later in blood test it showed creatinine is 1.9. Later Dr. scolded me not to keep baby without milk. at least feed her formula milk. I did the same and fever went of. Later I dint check her creatinine. It will not be a problem?

Breast milk needs to be started as early as possible but why creatinine is elevated has to b rule out go for kidney fuction test again mother milk is better then formula milk fever was not because of milk but yes if baby is empty stomach for 4 day thats a problem.
