Hi, From last week I am having severe pain in the back of my neck and left shoulder. I visited a doctor and he diagnosed cervical spondylitis without X-ray and prescribed some medicine but the pain continued. Then I visited an orthopaedic he told me to have an X-ray and ruled that you don't have spondylitis and prescribed me notrip and pregabalin. Now it has been more than I week taking the medicine but there is no relief from pain. Please help.

Dear user you might be suffering from cervical brachialgia. Avoid forward neck bending in your daily routine. Example while working on laptop or cooking, avoid taking big pillow while sleeping. Do neck exercises such as cervical isometrics. Use hot packs to relieve pain. If pain is not decreasing then visit nearby Physiotherapy center.
