Hi, Thanks for generating query on Lybrate. As you told that you have elbow pain since 5 months. First prefer to do hot fomentation twice a day. Also use elbow support to prevent further injury and to support your elbow. Avoid any jerky movement n repetitive movement of elbow that causing pain. Follow work related ergonomics regarding your elbow. Moreover I will recommend to go to near by physiotherapist again for better relief.

I have got my acl completely ruptured as per mri 10 weeks back. I sometime feel slight pain while standing. I have been advised to get it operated by ARTHROSCOPY while another doctor has advised me to avoid operation by leading a sedentary lifestyle. One thing, I haven't experienced any incident of unlocking of my knee during last 4 weeks albeit it feels to be still unstable. Please advise whether I should go for acl reconstruction surgery.

Hi, Nice to see your query on Lybrate. I would like to advice you to go for surgery. If you will delay surgery, it will hinder recovery and will also affect your activities of daily Iiving. As per your problem only surgery is required. Now choice is urs that you wish to delay or not.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, If you r feeling weakness so you should go to check your Vitamine D. Second avoid stair climbing if you can. Also do exercises to strengthen your legs. You can do ankle toe movement, knee isometrics, calf stretch etc.
