Hi, I usually get cold fingers and feet regularly during the day time and when I am anxious, my bp is always below 100/70 and I have tachycardia. For the past 2 days I have calf muscle pain. Is there anything to fear about?

Dear lybrate-user, There is nothing to fear about. Anxiety. Usually manifests as cold fingers and feet. Your BP is okay. Since you have tachycardia and anxiety. It is better to rule out thyroid problem by undergoing thyroid profile blood test. Some time. You may need to take an echocardiogram also. If they both are normal, it may be a generalised anxiety disorder which can be treated with anxiolytic tablets or relaxation exercises and cognitive behaviour therapy.
