My husband has been suffering with severe knee pain for the past two months. MRI report reveals 3 points: 1) Osteoarthritis 2) Marrow Edema 3) Medial meniscus Grade III TEAR Kindly advise the nature of treatment required for it. More details needed how did he get this OA and meniscal tear did he have any accidents or was it secondary or primary OA what are the other tests he has done any other medical diseases he is having what are the blood work results which specialist Dr. has he seen has he had any Physical therapy what was the treatment suggested by the primary Dr. how is the pain affecting his work what does he work as is he able to do all his daily activity's at home without any help all these need to be answered to get a better picture to advice properly please get educated before getting medicated.

Hello lybrate-user, osteoarthritis with meniscus tear if not managed surgical will not provide relief till thn you can start anti-inflammatory medications with exercises to prevent further progression of disease, but I would like to see xray and MRI and if clinical examination to see how bad knee is please consult.
