Diagnosed with arachnoid cyst at the age of 32. I want to ask about the age wen this chat will start giving symptoms as my doc says my headaches nausea vertigo bobbing of head unable to talk and open my eyes (current symptoms) and facial paralysis (in 1997) must not be correlated with thi cyst. There must be another neurological reason as the cyst is present from the birth. If it has to give symptoms it must be at early age.

Depending on the size and location of the arachnoid cyst, symptoms can include: Headache. Nausea and vomiting. Lethargy, including excessive fatigue or low energy. Seizures. Visible lumps or protrusions from the head or spine. Developmental delays. Hydrocephalus due to obstruction of normal cerebrospinal fluid circulation. The symptoms you have are associated with arachnoid cyst.
