Din means daily Charya means routine So in Ayurveda Dinachrya provides an outline of daily activities or routine to maintain a disease free healthy life. Ayurveda suggests that to be healthy, the body should be tuned to the daily cycle of nature. Following Dinacharya is one of the best ways to get rid of diseases, stay balanced and cure various illness to remain healthy and fit. As life is a circular cycle, according to biological clocks, there is morning, afternoon, evening and night, same way human being must follow the particular biological clock of his life, and must correlate the work with the cycle First thing told in Dinacharya is- 1.Wake up one and half hour before sunrise. 2.Do clear the bowel 3.Do exercise, oil massaging, gargling etc. Are told in specific order and specific way As our life is full busy now a days we can not follow as much told as in Dinacharya. But we can implement some daily routines to make our body and mind healthy Wake up early in the morning Drink 2 glasses of luke warm water clear the bowel Brush your teeth Do pranayam and exercise to keep you physically and mentally fit After exercise and pranayam rest for half hour then take do full body oil massaging and take bath in warm water. Use cold water for washing the hair Have a healthy breakfast and lunch. Avoid oily fatty junk food completely Add more fruits and veggies Drink 2-3 liters of water Do prayer or chant mantras at 7 pm Dinner must be done before 8 pm For dinner and sleep there should be a time gap of 3 hours. Before sleeping massage your sole with oil.
