Recently I got my blood test through Thyrocare. Iron is 129.9 microgram/dl. Total iron binding capacity (TIBC) is 191microgram/dl. The % Transferrin saturation is 68.01%. All other values are with in normal range including GGT, SGOT and SGPT. I am a heart patient with one stent fixed in 2013. I am taking clopidogrel75 mg, Nebivolol 5 mg, Telmisartan 20 mg and rosuvastatin 10 mg daily. What is the significance of high % transferrin saturation values? What is the problem expected and possible treatment?
