Hello, Ankylosing Spondylitis is an autoimmune condition, where the body own immune cells attack the body. It is one of the painful conditions which gets worse during winters. 1. You need to keep a moderate amount of exercise daily to reduce stiffness and increase mobility. This may also include some stretching and exercises which help in full range of movements. 2. A hot water bag at the region of stiffness helps in relaxation. 3. Since you have mentioned about pain around the rib cage, I would also suggest you to do some breathing exercises daily. 4. I will suggest to you 2 medicines and also how to take them. CIMICIFUGA 30. 3 pills every 2 hours. GUAIACUM 200. 3 pills in morning and at bed time. Keep a gap of 15-20 mins between the medicines in morning and also between the medicine and meals. Take these two medicines for 1 week. Kindly give me a follow up after a week so that I will be able to help you better. Do let me know if this was helpful to you. Thank you.
