Hi lybrate-user it's because of muscle strain. You can get rid of it by applying a knee cap or strap your knee joint for some days around 2 weeks.in those two weeks you need to do knee rehab which follows 1. Apply ice for 5 to 10 mins in a circular manner. 2. Apply crab bandage to get rid of pain. 3. Taping can be done for strained muscle. 4.
