Dear Lybrateuser, - To remain fit & active you have to have a well balanced diet with more of protein foods & do regular exercise - have more of fruits, vegetables including green leafy ones, whole grains like whole wheat, brown rice, oats, corn instead of refined ones, protein rich foods like eggs, non veg, milk & milk products, soya products, tofu, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, nuts like almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts - have a protein food item alongwith all your meals & also as snacks inbetween meals - do regular exercise like jogging, swimming, cycling, ply an outdoor game for 20-30 min, also do moderate weight lifting for 10-15 min twice a week which will build your muscles & hence increase your weight.
