Respected Sir 1.Any stone removal surgery carries the risk of infection spreading into the main blood stream, leading to sepsis, which is the precise cause of tachycardia (increase in the pulse rate) and low blood pressure (hypotension). It is due to the release of endotoxins and bacteria from the stone into the blood stream. 2.Blood transfusion is not required and the sepsis can be tackled by ensuring sterile Urine culture prior to the stone surgery and the use of broad spectrum antibitotics in the perioperative and post operative period. Hope this helps Wishing you a speedy recovery Thanks.
