Hi, you have to consume foods that are rich in Iron. The good sources are skin out chicken, dark green leafy vegetables (especially spinach), legumes (navy beans, rajmah, lima beans), raisins, apricot, dried dates, oats, quinoa, flax seeds. Even red meat has high content of iron but it is not a heart friendly diet. Try to squeeze a lemon on the food before serving as vitamin-c helps in better absorption of iron from vegetarian sources. Make sure that the food is not too hot as heat denatures vitamin-c.
