If the periods are regular and every time it's 45 days, then you have to go for ovulation studies by ultrasound from day ten onwards. Initially tiny follicles, alternate days growing follicles till they get ripe for the rupture which happens on day 14 in a woman who has cycle of 28 days. This is theoretical and women do get pregnant just before or just after the periods I'm your case you have to depend upon ultrasound for reassurance that all is well with you get semen test for him also you can get back here with reports for more guidance it seems that only your last cycle was delayed otherwise you're regular with 29 days or so still get ovulation studies done ultrasound can rule out other causes of delayed periods if once delayed, make sure that you don't take hormones to regularize cycle look for future and don't reduce normal chances of getting pregnant if hormones are given as a routine.
