Yes. How much is the intensity of your pain? If it is too severe then you probably want to change the position of your computer. That is, see that you place it exactly at your eye level and on an exact height so that you don't have to raise your head too high or too low. Break your neck posture every 1 hourly. That way it will relax your neck muscles and lower the strain that you have on neck. That is, DO gentle and slow neck movements like up, down, rotation to the right and left and side bending on both the sides for 10 times in a day. Try applying ice pack for 15 minutes exactly on any spot that you have pain or around the neck region. Cover it with a thin towel and then place it. Do not place it directly. I would advise you for more exercises if I can look for any reports or detailed history for your spondylolysis. Feel free to contact me for any questions or concerns. Thank you. Take care.

This is cervical pain (neck pain) and that's the reason the pain radiates until the shoulder blades. If you keep ice that would help to reduce the pain and feel relaxed and comfortable. You shall also do hot water fermentation that would improve the blood circulation to the painful area and thereby the pain would be reduced. You shall use cervical collar which would help you to reduce the radiating pain and also that would improve the cervical angle and improve the anatomical posture. The pain actually triggers due to nerve compression and that would definitely improve by wearing a cervical collar.
