My mother age is 50. She's diabetic. She have appointment for eye operation. So should we wait for sugar level normal or not. Last week (friday) suddenly sugar level goes down. Then next day she checked pp it was 140. She taken all the precaution. She do exercise daily and taken medicine also. But sometimes it increase the sugar level. Yesterday her fasting was 134. So is this the right time for her eye operation.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. In a person with diabetes no operative procedure is under taken if blood glucose is high, particularly PP above 200 mg. The eye surgeon will advise you get that level below 200 mg and then only he would take her for surgery. Thanks.
