As far as your diabetes goes, you are on right track, regular exercises and brisk walking will keep blood glucose level under check along with little changes in diet. Keep monitoring your blood glucose levels. If you have any change in colour of your stool, get a stool test done for occult blood or frank blood to role out any further possibility of something else in gastro intestinal tract.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Blood glucose levels mentioned show that you have a prediabetic state. In this situation, if proper care is not taken like controlled diet in terms of calories, avoiding sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items and foods made from maida, then there is always a possibility of progressing rapidly to wards developing diabetes. It is good to know that you have been able to manage well. But only eating oats and curd rice is not going to meet your nutritional needs. You have to take foods which provides proteins and some fats along with carbs. You have to add a lot of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Some protein foods also are needed. As regards passing some" little reddish liquid" it is difficult to comment what may be the cause. Get your stools examined for presence of overt or occult blood. If need be consult a local physician or a gastroenterologist. Thanks.
