Hi, I need one advise my brother is suffering from alcoholism may be not sure because whenever he is getting his salary or even if he get some money he will try to finish that money as soon as possible by doing booze. This type of activity is common in every month and it is remaining at least for two to three days he will be try to go for boozing as much as possible. When he is short of money you will not able to recognise if you are meeting with same person so remaining 20 to 22 days he will be normal. Please suggest is he alcoholic or he is suffering from some mental issue.

He is surely alcohol dependent, as it seems and seems to be an impulsive drinker. Tell his employer to hand the money to the bank account or family, and take away the ATM card from him. Take him to a psychiatrist for counselling and anti-craving medications for alcohol.
