I am having tooth bleeding problem. Last month I had visited a dentist for same problem, the dentist had prescribed me Rexidin-M forte gel. For the next 1 week there was no bleeding but later it started bleeding again. I am facing the bleeding problem not only after brushing teeth, it starts bleeding any time. Hello Lybrate user, bleeding gums suggest you have infected gums. For such cases the treatment protocol is 5 days course of antibiotic, mouthwash followed by cleaning and polishing of teeth surface. Cleaning and polishing can be done by any dentist, but do it after taking antibiotic and mouthwash. Also you can check your blood sugar level, diabetic individual are more prone to gum infection. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure.
