My father had undergone biliary standing procedure 3 days back after a block in the bile duct was detected. His bilirubin values are still very high. Its 8.4 now. Yesterday it was 7.7 and before the procedure it was 5.6. His sodium also came down to 123 after tje procedure. Is there something serious. He is a cirrhosis patient. But his blood results were normal till a month before.

Having such a low sodium is not good at causes dehydration of your brain as well as other serious problems in the body operation can even I have altered behaviour and drowsiness so I would advise you to get get him evaluated for kidney dysfunction and find out the cause for decreased Sodium and also you need to talk to the surgeon about the rising bilirubin and other parameters.
