I consulted dentist for my protruding teeth. He explained that I am having little protruding, it can be solved only by extraction since I don't have gap between teeth's.But if I extract teeth and put braces, my lips will be very different and face will not good from before when the gaps are completely closed. So he is telling not necessary to put teeth braces. But I am really stressed about my protruding teeth because I want straight teeth. I really want to know the solution for me and people having little protruding teeth?

if you don't have spacing between ur teeth u need to go for extraction of first premolars without this ur teeth cannot be corrected don't get worried about the gap which will be filled with time and end result will be good

Dear Lybrate user, Please relax, don't be so stressed about your concerns as there are solutions to your problem. Please visit an Orthodontist (braces specialist) and get a thorough clinical examination done. Since you are so conscious about the change in looks after wearing braces, you can opt for ceramic braces instead of the metallic braces which are esthetically acceptable and do not change your look drastically. Further, you can also opt for invisible aligners which offer the most esthetic way of achieving a smile correction and are barely visible.

See that is the only option, dentists have been doing that since a long time. Spaces are created after extracting 4 premolar teeth and then with braces the teeth are pushed back and those spaces are closed.
