Hi doctor. If despite of taking regular anti-depressants, pain in the temples persist, even after increasing/decreasing the dosage or trying other medicines, what is the other possible solution besides visiting a psychiatrist. Regards.

Well your question is direct and to the point. You must now visit a counselor and talk about your anger. Your depression is clearly anger related and this could be causing your headaches too. Are you aware of what you are angry about? if this anger is from your childhood, there is much work to be done. If not then you can easily identify the recent origins of this anger and express it in therapy and when it is out, the headaches will also disappear. Do not experiment with the medicines without the explicit directions of your doctor. Continue the medicines as directed but do the counseling in tandem for the best results.
