I am a person suffering from pcod diagnosed 6 years back. I recently consulted a dermatologist who wanted to give me isotretinoin for my stubborn acne. Although I have read it's really effect, but I am doubtful if it will really help hormonal induced acne permanently? I believe acne might come back after I discontinue the medicine. Also my PCOS was diagnosed few years (3-4) after I started eating acne medicines, hence I doubt my PCOS was a result of that. Does isotretinoin known to aggravate/cause PCOS?
