Serious breathing problem suggests an exacerbation of asthma or poorly controlled asthma. Steroids are the best drugs to control the inflammation and bronchodilators to prevent chest tightness and wheezing. Oral steroids and nebulization with duolin are to be used for one week, followed by a combination of inhalational steroid and bronchodilators are to be used for maintenance.
