Hello, You get relief after smoking that is the temporary effect of tobacco on your body which indirectly acts as an analgesic and the pain subsides for some hours. As per symptoms you will need an otoscopic examination of the ear which is possible only if you visit an ENT specialist. Rest I can advise you is try to quit smoking because it is harmful for your lungs and body and it will also subside body signals such as pain and other symptoms which are seen in some diseases. For detailed history taking and treatment you can take my online consultation here: www.Lybrate.com/dr-prashantpawar Thank you.
