It could be hereditary also. If your parents or grand parents have been thin all their lives your chances of gaining weight are also low. Still you can try all weight gaining things. Like desi ghee in food. Bananas with milk. Milk preparations made up of semolina with sugar .eat more in the night and sleep. Or if possible to sleep in afternoon after eating lunch. Nuts. Non veg food like red meat but just check out using your own wisdom that what suits your body type. All the best.

Full cream milk, yogurts, puddings, eggs, lean proteins can be taken.
Avoid overexercise .
Consume beans, lentil, nuts, dried fruits liberally .
