About Zerodol 150 MG Injection

Zerodol 150 MG Injection is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), prescribed for people with painful rheumatic conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Zerodol 150 MG Injection works by blocking the effect of cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes which make chemical prostaglandins at sites of injury or damage, causing pain, swelling and inflammation. It eases pain and reduces inflammation. This medicine should not be given during pregnancy or to mothers that are breastfeeding. Is not recommended for children. This drug is available in tablet form and is taken orally.

Zerodol 150 MG Injection has side effects including diarrhoea, stomach pain, nausea, constipation, vomiting, skin rashes etc. If the side effects are severe or persistent it is advisable to consult your doctor.

You should not be taking Zerodol 150 MG Injection if –

  • You are allergic to Zerodol 150 MG Injection or other anti-inflammatory pain killers.
  • You ever had a problem with stomach or duodenal bleeding, such as an ulcer.
  • You have a heart condition or impaired kidney or liver function.
  • You are pregnant of breastfeeding a baby.
  • You have high blood pressure or blood clotting problems.

Alcohol should not be consumed with this medicine. Zerodol 150 MG Injection interacts with certain other medicines like lithium, digoxin, corticosteroids and antihypertensives and certain diseases like asthma, gastro-intestinal toxicity.

The usual dose for Zerodol 150 MG Injection is 100 mg tablet taken twice daily, preferably in the morning and evening. It can be taken with food or after food. Drinking an adequate amount of water minimises chances of indigestion and stomach irritations. The duration and amount of medicine should be followed as per the doctor’s prescription.

      Zerodol 150 MG Injection helps against stiffness and pain caused from Ankylosing Spondylitis.

    • Allergy

      Zerodol 150 MG Injection should not be used if you are allergic to it or any other NSAIDs.

    • Asthma

      Zerodol 150 MG Injection is not advised if you suffer from asthma.

    • Bleeding

      Zerodol 150 MG Injection is not suggested if you have any bleeding disorder like swelling and bleeding in the stomach, colon, and anus.

        Gastrointestinal Toxicity

        Zerodol 150 MG Injection should not be used in case of ulceration and bleeding, chronic indigestion, appearance of coffee colored dry blood in stools or vomiting of blood.

        Impaired Kidney Function

        Zerodol 150 MG Injection should not be used if you have any kidney disease.
