Metadrate Syrup is used in the treatment of diabetes, stomach and intestinal diseases. It increases the muscle contractions of the upper digestive tract. It provides relief in cases of heartburn and migraines. It prevents feelings of nausea and the tendency to vomit. Metadrate Syrup falls under the category of drugs known as dopamine-receptor antagonists.
The associated side-effects that come with the use of Metadrate Syrup are headache, dizziness, sleeping troubles, drowsiness and restlessness. Major side effects include depression, uncontrollable body movements, high fever, shakiness, skin rash, hives, rapid and irregular heartbeat and stiff muscles.
