Ultra sound is commonly known as sonography. It is a process of reproducing ultrasound images of soft tissues of a particular body part and other organs on the computer screen with the help of the echoes of the sound waves produced by the transducer, a high-frequency generating instrument.
Ultra sound is commonly used during the different stages of pregnancy to denote the foetal health, date of delivery, birth defects etc. However, in recent times, the ultra sound has also been associated with the diagnosis of other body parts such as the eyes, heart, gall bladder, liver, ovary, uterus, kidney, uterus, testicles, and ovaries. Ultra sound has also been useful in conducting biopsies for suspecting cancer patients, although not all of the cancers are detected by this imaging process. 3D & 4D ultrasound imaging are useful for looking at a particular body portion with much more precision and in slow motion respectively.

The advantages of ultra sound are:
1. The process of ultrasound imaging is a painless and a fast one. It does not require any insertion of needles or similar objects to denote the problems of the concerned body part.
2. The process is more convenient as compared to other similar imaging processes like MRI, mammogram and x-rays as they can capture images of the soft tissues, blood flow & cysts more clearly than the other processes.

Tachycardia means a rapid heart rate of more than 100 beats per minute. Supraventricular means the problem starts in the upper part of your heart, above your ventricles (the lower chambers of your heart). If you have SVT, your heart may beat at a rate of about 140 to 250 beats per minute.

SVT episodes usually don't last long and go away on their own without any treatment. They often happen in young, healthy people. You will usually get fewer episodes of SVT as you get older, but you may find that the symptoms get worse. How long an episode lasts can vary from a few seconds or minutes, to several hours.

Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) doesn't always cause symptoms but you’re more likely to have symptoms if you already have heart disease.
Symptoms you may get during an episode of SVT include:
being aware of your heart suddenly beating faster (heart palpitations)
feeling dizzy
feeling short of breath
chest pain
fainting 
These symptoms may be caused by problems other than SVT.
You may need to have a test called an ECG. An ECG records the electrical activity in your heart to see how well it's working. 
ECHO - This test uses ultrasound to provide a clear image of your heart muscles and valves and can show how well your heart is working.

Pulmonary embolism requires various lab tests and generally requires short time to resolve.

Symptoms: The symptoms of pulmonary embolism mainly depend upon many factors pertaining to your previous medical history. Pulmonary embolism varies with the size of your lungs, the size of the clots formed in your blood, and any other underlying history of the heart or lungs. That said, pulmonary embolism has symptoms which are not similar to any two persons and will vary accordingly.

Treatment of pulmonary embolism can be done with medicines if it is detected at an early stage or also if the clot is small. However, if the size of your clot is problematic and blocks the blood flow to your lungs or heart then surgery may be necessary. Open surgery and clot removal surgery are common in the treatment of pulmonary embolism and will require good regular follow up check ups.
